Dear DRRSD Community,
We were able to share an amazing surprise this morning at Dighton Elementary School as one of our outstanding educators, Leigh Beson, was selected as a national winner of the Milken Family Foundation Educator Excellence Award. Leigh is among just a handful of teachers across the country to be selected!
The administration and staff at Dighton Elementary did a fabulous job of hosting the Deputy Commissioner of DESE, Regina Robinson, as well as several local dignitaries.
All of our teachers and staff members share in this outstanding accomplishment as Leigh’s honor is a testament to the fantastic teaching and learning that makes “we are DR“ a reality. Our entire staff makes the culture of learning and belonging one of excellence here in Dighton Rehoboth!
